The app and its widgets share settings through a local App Group. These settings are not uploaded to a developer server. Uninstalling the app removes local app data.
Optional weather and location
When weather is enabled, the app requests your current location with permission, using approximately three-kilometre accuracy. Latitude and longitude rounded to two decimal places are sent to Open-Meteo over HTTPS to retrieve weather. The app does not continuously track location or upload location to a developer server. Network requests also disclose connection information such as your IP address to the weather service. Under Open-Meteo’s policy, troubleshooting logs may contain geographic coordinates and are deleted after 90 days. You can disable weather or revoke location permission.
